marathonsounds.mp3
That should work.
I thought I was being so tech-savvy trying to embed the audio right into my blog...FAIL.
Edited: OK, WTF?! HELP. My tech-savviness has officially reached its limit (not that there was much to begin with).
How about THIS one?

Oh, and just in case anyone is thinking "it's just a sound bite, what's the big deal?" it's because it REALLY IS THRILLING (well, for me, anyway). I just want everyone to have a chance to experience a tiny bit of what running the New York City Marathon is like. Imagine all that noise and much more for 26.2 solid miles. It really was an endless party. It was wonderful.

Access DENIED, sister! That's what I got.
Send me some of your speed, I'll send you some of my tech-savvitude.
One might think Glaven was denied on principle...but alas, I was denied too....
filefreak is assuming you need to be signed in (still) to hear this file - which neither I nor anyone else visiting your blog is likely to be.
I don't use filefreak, but I assume there must be a way to indicate that the mp3 you have uploaded there should be available to anyone, be s/he signed in or not?
See if you can give the file that kind of permission. Then it should work.
Oh GQH you're so S-M-R-T.
I found the relevant place and changed it to "everybody and their brother can access this file."
Nice blog - you sound like me (only a little faster...)
That's cool.
oh it is SO COOL, isn' it?
congratulations! I don't think I quite enjoyed that part of it when I ran NYC marathon a few years ago.
And it was pretty quiet when I qualified for Boston at the Bay State marathon in Lowell, MA a few weeks ago...
congrats!
Someone aptly described the NYC marathon as a 26 mile standing ovation.
Woo-Hoo! I could access it this time!
Man, loud! And that assessment is coming from someone who listens to the Who with the volume at 11!
Were those the unmistakable strains of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" I heard at the end of the clip? (Because if they weren't, then I guess the strains of "S,S,D" are, um ... mistakable.)
Awesome, Awesome! Gives ya chills.
Sarah, you were genius to record the crowd support. I only wish my screaming lungs had made it onto your iPhone.
