Comment, Please

I have this nifty little application installed in the code for this blog. It's called Statcounter and it tells me everything I could ever want to know about anyone who reads this thing. Along with the handful of people I actually know IRL or from other places on the Internet who are semi-loyal readers (I have your static IP addresses labeled so I know it's you) there are a few of y'all who keep coming back...yet I have no idea who you are. Lakewood, Ohio, I'm talking to you. I know you're not my friend Ellen 'cause she moved to North Carolina. And who's that from the U of M Medical Center who keeps coming back? What about you, Jacksonville, Florida? I don't know anyone there. How did you find me? So don't be shy, comment! I love comments! I like knowing who's reading beyond the four to six people I'm absolutely sure about.

In other news: Tomorrow afternoon we have an all-company rah-rah meeting at the Sheraton across the street. Refreshments and snacks are being provided. This would all be well and good except Tuesday is my Weight Watchers weigh-in day and I don't eat anything but breakfast all day to increase my chances of a happy result at weigh-in, and tomorrow has the potential to be really good (55 pounds lost total!) or very irritating (gain for the week including Thanksgiving) But...free cookies. Lots and lots of free cookies. Sigh. What's a girl to do?

Must. Stay. Focused. Maybe I'll have one cookie.

I'll comment that cookies, in moderation, have hurt no one. Please leave the cookies out of this!

Oof, caught! I stumbled across your blog link over on the childfree board (I lurk), and am incredibly inspired by your running reports--I have the lofty goal of running the Free Press marathon (just to say I did)by the time I'm 40 (which gives me 4 years...)but am currently dealing with various wonky joints. So I'm living vicariously through your blog while working on getting fitter through other means until I can run.

Sarah - I read the A2News Article. Glad you're doing well. Opera and Running! Keep it up. Any more bats in your house? I hope not.

Hi there! :totally busted: I found your blog through Elizabeth at Princess Nebraska. I have commented there a few times, but have lurked over here for a while. You're actually among the list of blogs I check daily.

I'm a runner as well. Though, my numbers don't look nearly as awesome as yours, I have been running and in road races since July of this year.

Your weight loss is awesome! I'm right in that boat with you. I just lost about 40 pounds so far. I've got another measly 20 to go to hit goal, but I'd be happy with 10.

Keep up your great work!! I look forward to reading more....

Cheers! I check back often, but for the past while my internet was down. Kinda of like the tree that fell across our powerlines.

Ugh. But yay! We have heat, lights, phone, TV and internet back! Not that I use two of the last three all that much... (you can probably guess which two...)
