Ten and Ten

Ten miles. Ten degrees. What does such a combination of parameters require?

Lots and lots and lots of layers.

The best part about this run was seeing a flock of bluebirds. Their bright feathers stood in stark contrast to the bare branches and snow-encrusted fields.

I have finally eased back into the routine of rising and running in the dark, cold mornings before work. Boston is 15 weeks from tomorrow. I'll be ready.

I think I'm finally getting acclimated to the low temps. Good luck getting ready for Boston. Cheers!

10 degrees? Brr... You have me beat by a few for this year. I think the coldest I got back in Colorado was 13.

You're a better woman than me.

And I totally thought about you and your last post this Saturday morning past as I was trying to squeeze a long run into a 10-degree morning (something we, like, never ever get here in sunny South Carolina).
