Sigh

I had a long (2-hour) meeting at work this morning. I was sitting in the conference room waiting for it to start and looking out the windows. I saw some guy out for a run on a sidewalk about 300 meters away. I watched him until he passed out of sight and the whole time I was thinking, "I wish I could be out there right now."

I am the same way. Every time I'm driving in my car and I see a runner, I give 'em the thumbs up sign and say out loud (but, mostly to myself) "Way to go buddy."

~on a sidenote, I am going to wear my Meteor tee when I start cycling as I train for the Tour de France!! :)

*not.

I've recently stumbled upon your blog and read most of your past posts. Your story is inspiring, and similar to my own. Great job and keep it up! You've inspired me to take more time to document my running and celebrate my accomplishments. Thanks.

I've so been there. I always wonder, what kind of life these people have that they can run int he middle of the day.

Ironically, the next day I was one of those lucky people! I had taken half a day of vacation time and found myself at home with an hour to spare before my husband and I were due to depart for Cleveland. So I went out for a nice four-mile run around 12:30 pm. It was weird but awesome.

i HATE that. why don't those lazy I-don't-have-to-be-at-a-desk-right-now bums run down dark alleys where we can't see them?

thanks for the comment on my blog, btw.

Boy, you have the running disease if you are daydreaming about it. Funny.
